Nonspecific pain syndromes
When the pain has no clear cause, but is real.
We treat pain that others don’t understand.
What happens when pain remains unexplained despite all tests?
Dealing with pain that has no clear cause can be extremely frustrating and exhausting. You have likely already undergone numerous tests, tried to relieve symptoms, and reduced pain with various medications and/or therapies, and there’s a good chance a surgical procedure was even suggested. Unfortunately, this is the most common scenario we encounter in people experiencing pain without a clear cause.
Many individuals face pain that interferes with daily activities and reduces quality of life, while the exact cause remains difficult to determine. Here are some of the most common symptoms:
01 Muscle and joint pain
02 Chronic headaches and migraines
03 Dizziness
04 Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
05 Irregular heartbeats
06 Chest pain

Every pain is real and has a cause. We know how to find it.
Discover how we use modern diagnostics to identify the true cause of pain.
How to prevent issues related to nonspecific pain?
"Prevention of nonspecific pain can be achieved through a combination of a tailored exercise program that strengthens motor and functional abilities, a balanced diet that supports physical health, and effective stress management to reduce psychological factors contributing to pain. Together, these elements can significantly lower the risk of painful conditions and improve quality of life."

What causes nonspecific pain syndromes?
Nonspecific pain syndrome can be explained through the complex interaction between your nervous system, immune system, and multiple factors such as:
Old traumatic
injuries and surgeries
Poor stress
management
Lack of physical
activity
Inadequate
nutrition
DISCOVER THE SCIENCE BEHIND YOUR RECOVERY
Therapeutic techniques we apply
P-DTR
This advanced manual method of functional neurophysiology focuses on alleviating pain by modulating neurological signals. Simply put, it helps your nervous system 'reset' to reduce pain perception. Neuro-receptor therapy is based on the latest scientific knowledge and technologies to precisely target and calm the nerve pathways that transmit pain signals.
DNS and Kinesiotherapy
Our kinesiotherapy is based on DNS principles and focuses on the re-education of global motor patterns – helping your body 'learn' healthier and more efficient ways of moving. Our goal is to develop and optimize the relationships between mobility and stability, motor control, muscle strength, and endurance. During kinesiotherapy, we work to make your body stronger, more agile, and more resilient to future challenges.
Case study.
It hurts, but why?
"The tests say everything is fine. Except it’s not, because my arm still hurts like hell.”
Read the case study and discover our process and results in real-world conditions.
She came to us after undergoing a series of specialist examinations but was unable to determine the cause of her problem. Hospital tests were normal, and imaging showed no indication that the pain was linked to any specific structure (muscles, joints, nerves, or other soft and hard tissues).
We proceeded with diagnostics and a detailed anamnesis, followed by testing that identified the true cause of the problem. During diagnostics, it was observed that pain was triggered by certain head movements, and reduced neck mobility was noted. Further osteopathic tests indicated a possible dural (spinal cord sheath) blockage in the neck area. The diagnostic results pointed to both structural and functional issues.
Based on the diagnostic results, we prepared a personalized therapy plan and began the therapeutic process. In the initial phase, we used dry needling in the upper trapezius to stimulate inflammation and initiate the recovery process. Next, using craniosacral therapy (CST), we built the nervous system’s capacity and reduced dural tension. At this stage, structural issues were resolved, allowing us to address the functional causes of the pain.
Through P-DTR therapy, we optimized the function of cortical and subcortical structures, which was a prerequisite for removing neuro-receptor dysfunctions. By eliminating these dysfunctions, we removed the primary cause of her pain and problems.
After five therapy sessions, the pain in her arm completely disappeared, and her neck regained full mobility. Within just two weeks of therapy, she was able to enjoy her personal and professional life pain-free, without worrying about how or where she sits.

FROM PAIN TO PERFORMANCE
Questions and Answers
01Can nonspecific pain disappear on its own?
Yes, in some cases nonspecific pain can resolve spontaneously. If the same type of pain no longer appears in the same area, it can be considered a complete disappearance of the pain. However, recurring episodes of pain may occur weeks, months, or even years later. In such cases, it is not considered a permanent resolution, but a temporary relief of symptoms. Chronic conditions often require professional help and a multidisciplinary approach.
02Can psychological state affect the onset or intensity of nonspecific pain?
Yes, psychological factors such as stress and anxiety can amplify or even trigger the sensation of pain, while at the same time, pain can worsen a person’s psychological state.
03How is nonspecific pain syndrome diagnosed?
The diagnosis is made by excluding other known causes of pain through a detailed medical history, clinical examination, and, if necessary, additional diagnostic tests."
04Can alternative methods help with nonspecific pain?
Yes. When we talk about nonspecific pain, we usually mean pain for which medical tests have not identified a cause, and the problem is functional in nature. In such cases, medications and surgery do not address the root cause, and exercise can sometimes mask or even worsen the problem.
