COMBINING SCIENCE AND EXERCISE THROUGH MOVEMENT
Smart Movement
Why does physical inactivity lead to imbalance and poor health?
When we look at the human body, we see that it is built like a system of levers connected by joints – clearly designed for movement. Whether we walk, run, bend, climb, or perform daily activities, movement is as fundamental to our survival as food, water, and sleep. When this biological need is neglected, just like when food or water is missing, health suffers and the body loses its natural balance.
Where do traditional workouts fall short?
Interestingly, our bodies were not designed for the type of conventional exercise often promoted in the fitness industry. Such training is not “nutritious” enough to provide optimal health. The problem lies in repetitive, monotonous routines that lack variety and fail to engage the joints across their full range of motion. Just as a balanced diet must include diversity to supply all essential nutrients, exercise must also be varied and balanced to provide complete well-being.
Smart Movement: Science Meets Exercise
Our entire approach is based on the philosophy of Smart Movement – a unique training methodology that adapts movement to your body’s natural design. With a deep understanding of biomechanics and physiology, we guide you through an almost limitless spectrum of exercises and movements. This approach – safe, effective, and enjoyable – ensures optimal training for your health. As a result, the body becomes harmoniously shaped, the mind relaxed, and physical and mental well-being balanced.
"The human body is designed for movement. Biomechanically, it is a system of levers connected by joints, finely tuned for motion. Exercise, at least in the way we know it today, is a creation of modern society – an attempt to compensate for the chronic lack of natural movement brought by modern lifestyles. That is why at Motion Lab we developed our own concept called Smart Movement – training the body in line with its structure, function, and real needs."

DIAGNOSTIC & INTRODUCTORY SESSION: A PERSONALIZED START FOR SAFE PROGRESS
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING GROUP EXERCISE?
Intro Session
Before joining group classes, every member attends an introductory session that includes a detailed diagnostic assessment and a guided demonstration workout.
Diagnostics
We test global motor patterns, as well as muscular endurance, strength, and power through specific assessments. This initial evaluation gives us a clear picture of your body’s condition and helps us recommend the right programs and groups for you, considering both professional guidance and your personal preferences.
Introductory Training
In the same session, we guide you through fundamental techniques and principles we apply in training. You are introduced to specific movements and positions you will later use in group classes, ensuring a safe, effective, and well-prepared start.
